7 reasons why women should only buy shapewear from women-led brands!

Summary: I don't think I need to explain to you now that women know best what women want, how our bodies sometimes go crazy and what issues we deal with on a daily basis. However, it happens again and again that brands for women are still run by men. This is also the case with shapewear. Yet underwear is typically a women's thing, isn't it? I wanted to find out and took a closer look.

1. Treat yourself. Feel better, for you!

yes, yes I know: here it comes "but if you are true to yourself, why shapewear?" The inventor of shapewear was a woman - fortunately - but when Sarah Blakley was asked why shapewear (?), she replied "Because I have two daughters". Sara Blakely made a "I treat myself to something good" piece out of it. That gives shapewear a completely different image. So I treated myself ;) My favorite are definitely the InvisiShape bodysuitsyou wonder why...I'll tell you now ⬇️

2. We feel you. We understand our female anatomy

Unpleasant itching after intimate shaving, bloating during your period, back and neck pain with a large bust, rolls of fat in tight clothes... the girls of the Brand InvisiWear have studied our female anatomy in detail. Through numerous surveys with women , they have adapted their shapewear products precisely to female curves. Tinkering, late nights and lots of coffee! The InvisiWear team picked up the sewing thread and needle themselves. They have optimized the fit on themselves. But the secret is the innovative sewing technology ⏬️

3. Being a woman naturally. The realistic body image

These girls from Hamburg create products that naturally flatter curves and promote a realistic body image. Their aim is not to hide the body, but to emphasize and flatter the beautiful, feminine curves . The highlight: the integrated shaping effect conjures up 1-2 trouser sizes smaller. Thanks to the specially developed InvisiTech™ technology, in which mesh fabric is reinforced with spandex, excess skin and sagging remain in shape and are shaped.

I also had to learn first: thanks to their sewing technique, the InvisiShapes have a medium compression with a shaping effect, but in such a way that you stay YOU. Founder Natalie says: "We have a very clear rule : NO CORSET! Shapewear must be comfortable be comfortable to be worn all day long to be worn all day, without constricting."

4. It's a match 🫶 Shapewear has never been so comfortable

The cuts and seams are designed to fit our feminine curves perfectly and do not pinch or pinch, even when sitting for long periods, and nothing pinches "down there". Flat seams prevent unsightly underwear marks under clothing. Wide straps and reinforced seams under the bust provide enough support and prevent cutting. I tested it and the result of our shapewear? Flawless fit and maximum comfort - all day long. Try it out - I love it!

5. Be Prepared. For every occasion, for every situation

I keep seeing it in fashion magazines, blogs and on social media: the trendy shapewear wardrobe! Have you already created your shapewear closet? You have enough occasions, such as the office, parties, weddings, summer outfits, everyday life or dates. Just as you've probably built the rest of your wardrobe, it's also worth creating a small wardrobe for shapewear. I already have 4 InvisiShape bodysuits and a fifth is on the way. I'm just in love ;)

6. Men have it easy For us, even a bathroom, it's a whole bathroom mission

I'll tell it like it is ladies: Men have it much easier with a quick visit to the toilet . But of course the girls from Hamburg have also thought about our "yoni" with their InvisiShape bodysuits. A gusset that can be opened gives it the necessary freedom and free movement ;) So you don't have to worry about itand be like "crap - I have to take off the bodysuit first, so annoying and it costs me time and sweat!" No, no... just go to the nearest toilet, open the snap closure and let it flow 😉

7. #WomenSupportingWomen. Strong women, strong economy

And there really aren't that many of them - yes, I was also shocked(!) when I found out during my research that most shapewear products are made by men. I'm glad to have found the girls from InvisiWear. Founder Natalie simply quit her job and put all her eggs in one basket. I just think it's brave and I'm 100% in favor of more female founder power in our economy.
